New to Nashville, we love going into eclectic parts of the city to explore on the weekends. We dropped in at Emmy Squared with a craving for some pizza, and they did not disappoint. With a modern and minimalist atmosphere, we felt like we were back in NYC. They served a bottle of water at the table; very European and appreciated. When we arrived, it smelled mouth-watering good! A chef came out and shared with us that she was trying a new recipe for an upcoming event with Brian Cranston, and we might taste test it for her. We had the shareable Cesar salad, which we devoured. The deluxe pizza large came with 10 good size pieces. We took half home with us. Then, as promised, the chef brought us each out a piece of "El Jefe" to try. First of all, SO MUCH FUN! I loved that experience but also her creation was delicious. It had marinated chicken, a Verde sauce, a lime crema, roasted red peppers, and cilantro. Traditionally, I'm not a tex-mex or Mexican food fan, but this pizza was really, really good! I'd order it on our next visit, if it makes the official menu. It was 40 for the two of us, but the prices are posted, so we knew going in and did take plenty home for later. Thanks for a fun afternoon and spot-on pizza!

Very modern, very minimal, very nice atmosphere. Love going here with friends or with my church group. The pizza is very good, the fries are some of the best I've ever had, and the service is always top tier. Emmy, if you ever need a creator to be an ambassador, you let me know!

I'm new to town and have been going around town trying as many local spots as possible. The pizza here is one of the best I have EVER had!!! Brandy was an amazing server with great recommendations. I got the Miranda and added pepperoni and jalapenos, seriously 12/10. The espresso martini was also top notch. Highly recommend. I can't wait to bring my family here when they come to visit!

I tried them today and LOVED the pizza! I always thought Detroit Style was tasty but don't like the fact that their chain competitor (Jet's) uses non-organic wheat and nasty seed oils in their crust. They use organic flour in their crust and the pizza was both tasty and high quality. I ordered the simple detroit style cheese with extra sauce. The pizza took a while to cook, but arrived perfect. The restaurant was pretty empty, but hey, maybe their ovens take a while. Pizza was decently sized for the 17 price and I had to take home leftovers even after working out hard before stopping by. Waitress (younger gal college aged) was decently good. Brought me everything I needed and was friendly. I found my go to pizza place, I can't stand all the toxins and pesticides in non-organic crusts!

Whenever I travel I like to try new pizza places. Not sure what my friend googled to find this place, but I'm very happy he did. We arrived around 9:10 and they close at 10. The gentleman that greeted us upon arrival was very friendly. We looked the menu over and asked our server about the sesame seed crest on the MVP. He said that was probably his favorite so we took his word and ordered it. We ordered the brussel sprout salad minus the blue cheese, waffle fries minus bacon, and the MVP pizza. The menu said the Brussels sprout salad was shareable, it really is! With the waffle fries, you get 1 lb, it was a lot. The queso was nice and creamy and had a good kick to it. Then the pizza came out and I was full so could only eat one slice of the Detroit style. The food was so freaking good. The friend I went with said it was possibly the best complete meal he has ever had. We were shocked to find out while talking to our server before we left that it is a chain down the east coast. I really wish we had one in Ohio, I will be there all the time!

The pizza was excellent. Detroit-style thick crust, and moist and great flavor. The Brussels sprout salad was a delight: shaved Brussels sprouts, blue cheese, dried cherries, and nuts. Loved it. We dined in at lunchtime on a Thursday and it was a light crowd. Would absolutely eat here again.

Delicious pizza! Definitely a different style but so many great options. Recommend the Big Ang with vodka sauce. Yum!
